Options positioning · detected, dated, verified, scored

We watch what the smart money pays for.

Every day, someone pays millions for specific option strikes and specific dates. We see it, name it in plain English, check the calendar for why — and score ourselves in public every Friday.

Positioning information, not trade signals. You'll see the difference immediately.

Our favorite thing to show you: the date.

Option prices across expiration dates normally form a smooth curve. When traders expect something on a specific date, that expiry bulges — someone is literally paying extra for the days that contain it. We detect the bulge, print the date, and check the public calendar for why. When we can't find a reason, we say so — and that's usually when it gets interesting.

A real pattern from our desk: the market quietly loading premium onto one Friday. We checked — NVDA reported that week, and the Fed spoke that morning. Our readers knew days early.

Four verbs. That's the whole product.

Detect

We see the money

Options rushes, side bets, date bets, protection waves — measured against each name's own history, never gut feel. A few per day, not five hundred.

Date

We print the date

Not "something's brewing" — which Friday, and how heavily it's being paid for. The single most useful fact in options, and nobody else ships it daily.

Verify

We check why

Every mystery date gets matched against the public calendar. Earnings? We name it. Nothing there? We tell you we found nothing — and that's your cue to look closer.

Score

We grade ourselves

Every signal is scored against what actually happened — published every Friday, wins and losses, no exceptions. Signals that fail get retired, in public.

The Friday Scorecard — our spine, not our fine print.

Every signal service claims accuracy. Ask any of them for last month's full record — every call, including the losers. Silence is the industry standard.

We publish ours every Friday: did the positioning we showed you turn into movement beyond that name's ordinary day? Delivered or quiet — every signal, measured against the name's own baseline, never cherry-picked. Signals still building their record say so on the page, and when one fails its test we retire it and keep the tombstone public.

We do this because it's the only honest way to sell information — and because it's the one thing no competitor can copy without admitting what they've been hiding.

What we will never do

  • Tell you to buy or sell. We show positioning; the trade is yours.
  • Claim a win rate we haven't measured. Unproven signals say so, on their face.
  • Hide a losing week. The scorecard publishes either way.
  • Manufacture urgency. Quiet days are quiet. 0–5 alerts a day, honestly.
  • Fake precision. "We couldn't verify this" is an answer we give often, on purpose.
  • Attribute what the evidence can't carry. When it's market-wide, we say market-wide.

Two ways in.

Both arrive in Telegram. The Brief posts once each trading day; Live adds real-time alerts as positioning is detected. Cancel anytime.

Founder pricing holds for early subscribers as our public record accumulates — the price rises as the scorecard earns it, and early subscribers keep their rate. We alert only on names we've measured; the roster grows as names earn their way in, never before.
